How to use Keratin Complex Vital Shot Ampoules?
You can use Keratin Complex Vital Shot to perform four unique services.
Each Vitalshot restorative keratin ampoule can be used on its own or paired with Keratin Complex
services to intensify results.

1. KERATIN BOOSTER: Instant Keratin Service.
Great for every client with visible damage or breakage to restore strength and resilience.
Formula: 1-2 Vital shot ampoules (depending on hair type, texture, density and length).
DIRECTIONS:
1. Clarify all hair types 1-2 times with Keratin Complex Clarifying Shampoo or Keratin Complex Pre-
Treatment Shampoo.
2. Apply 1-2 vitalshot ampoules on towel-dried hair, concentrating application mid-length to end.
3. Using a wide-tooth comb, comb through the hair for even distribution.
4. Place a plastic cap over the client's hair. Place client under a pre-heated medium-heat dryer for 10-15
minutes.
5. Remove cap and allow hair cool 2-5 min. Do not rinse.
6. Blow dry and style as desired using Keratin Complex styling products.
TIP: For extra smooth, shiny results, use 1-4 pumps of Keratin Complex Kerabalm 3-in-1 multi-benefit
hair balm before adding styling products.

2. RADIANT COLOR: Color Refresh Service.
Ideal for any client with excessively compromised hair that needs additional restorative benefits, strength
and shine during a color refresh service.
Formula: 1 Vital shot ampoule + 1 desired KeraHold formula.
NOTE: Vitalshots are intended for use solely with Keratin Complex Color Therapy Products.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Mix KeraHold Keratin-Enriched Permanent Creme Hair Color and Zero Lift, 10 vol. or 20 vol.
KeraHold Developer according to desired result. Add 1 Vitalshot ampoule into formatiton.
2. Refer to Color Therapy Swatchbook or Product Knowledge Guide for Refresh Application
instructions and suggested processing time.
3. After processing time is complete, rinse hair with lukewarm water until water runs clear. Shampoo
with Keratin Complex Keratin Color Care Shampoo, Blondeshell Debrass & Brighten Shampoo, or
Timeless Color Fade-Defy Shampoo.
4. Apply 15-30 ml / 0.5-1 oz. Metamorfix Multi-Purpose Color Perfector from root to end. Allow
product to saturate for up to 10 min.
5. Rinse and style as desired using Keratin Complex Style Therapy products.

3. BRIGHTEST BLONDE: Enhanced Lightening Service.
Target Client: Any client with dry, damaged or overprocessed hair who needs added protection during
lightening services.
Formula: 1 Vital shot ampoule + selected It's a Blonde Thing Keratin Lightening System formula.
NOTE: Vitalshot Restorative Keratin Ampoules are indended for use solely with Keratin Complex Color
Therapy products.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Depending on the desired lightening effect, mix 1 Vitalshot ampoule, 30 ml/ 1 oz. It's a Blonde Thing
powder, and 30 ml/1 oz. 10, 20, 30, or 40 vol. It's a Blonde Thing Developer.
2. Refer to It's a Blonde Thing Technical Guide for application, technique, and processing time
instructions.
3. After processing time is complete, rinse hair with lukewarm water and shampoo with Keratin
Complex Blondeshell shampoo. Towel-dry.
4. At shampoo bowl, apply 30-60 ml / 1-2 fl oz. Blondeshell Masque Deep Keratin Treatment
throughout hair. Leave on the hair for 2-5 min.
5. Rinse and style as desired using Keratin Complex Style Therapy products
NOTE: When mixing Vitalshot ampoule and It's a Blonde Thing Keratin Lightening System, use a 1:1
mixing ratio.

4. MASQUE MAXIMIZER: Moisture Replenishing Service.
Ideal for any client with normal, dull, dry or chemilcally treated hair that needs added moisture and protection.
Formula: 1 Vitalshot ampoule + 30 ml/1 oz Keratin Complex masque of choice.
MASQUE SELECTIONS:
Vanilla Bean Deep Conditioner / Blondeshell Masque Deep Keratin Treatment / Color Care Moisture Masque.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Clarify all hair types 1-2 times with Keratin Complex Clarifying Shampoo or Keratin Complex Pre-Treatment Shampoo.
2. Apply 1 Vital shot ampoule to the hair, concentrating application mid-length to end. Layer 30 ml/1 oz of desired Keratin Complex masque and massage throughout the hair for even distribution. Leave on the hair for 2-5 min.
NOTE: For a more intensive treatment, place a plastic cap over client's hair and place client under a pre-heated medium-heat dryer for 10-15 min. Remove cap and allow hair to cool for 5 min.
3. Rinse and style as desired using Keratin Complex Style Therapy products.
TIP: For amplified shine, add 2 drops of Blondeshell Enhance High Shine Brightening Oil to the masque. Emulsify in hands and distribute throughout the hair.
