What is Demi Permanent Hair Color?
Demi permanent hair color is permanent hair color that contains an similar agents other than ammonia and is used with a developer, the concentration of hydrogen peroxide in that developer may be lower than used with a permanent hair color. Since the similar agents included in dem-perms are less effective in removing the natural pigment of hair than ammonia these product provide no lightening of hair's color during dying. As the result, they cannot color hair to a lighter shade than it was before dyeing and are less damaging to hair than their permanent counterpart.
Demi-permanents are much more effective at covering gray hair than semi-permanents, but less than permanents.

Does Goldwell Color expire once the can has been opened?

Alexis, Goldwell Color Can is air tight. The color is preserved and contained without air inside and this prolongs the color validity for a long while.

Shipping: We ship via USPS mail withing the U.S. All shipments take about 3 days in transit from the time the order is shipped. Most of the orders are shipped Priority Mail. (2day to 3day air). The processing time depends on the size fo the order and usualy take about 1 to 2 business days.

Refunds may be obtained within 60 days from the delivery for any merchandise that is unused and resalable, EXCEPT ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES (see here), in its original new condition and original packaging. This policy excludes all nail colors, shampoos, hair color, cosmetics, and perfumes. THESE SALES ARE FINAL. These restrictions are due to product control and health regulations.
