CHI Blondest Blonde Ionic Powder Lightener is a revolutionary dust-free powder that is unique in the industry. Formulated with silk and ceramic, it helps lift up to 8 levels in a single process. Offering maximum lift and tone in 1 step, this improved formula features intense blue dyes that help instantly tone brassiness, unwanted yellow and warm tones for cooler blonde results. This exceptional lightener is fast, contains silk proteins and other ingredients that are gentler on the hair, and works for both on or off-the-scalp applications resulting in multi-dimensional highlights.
How To Use
Shake well. Pour desired amount of CHI Blondest Blonde Ionic Powder Lightener into a plastic bowl and add an equal amount of CHI Color Generator to achieve desired consistency. Amounts may vary according to technique and application used. For full head or retouch applications use 10 or 20 volume CHI Color Generator. For off-the-scalp lightening, use 10, 20, 30, or 40 volume for 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 or 7-8 levels of desired lift, respectively. Always apply no closer than 1/8” from the scalp for both on and off- the-scalp procedures.
Timing
Do not pack hair tightly. Lift hair throughout process to allow air circulation and even oxidation. Check frequently, at least every 3-5 minutes, until desired results are achieved. Processing time depends on the desired degree of lift and condition of the hair. Never leave the product on hair longer than 50 minutes. When processing under heat, never process for longer than 15 minutes. The processing time while under heat will be determined by hair texture and condition.
Finishing
Rinse completely with lukewarm water, shampoo thoroughly, condition with CHI Color Lock Treatment, and apply treatment products to neutralize and remove any chemical residue. This procedure will close the cuticle, moisturize, increase manageability and add incredible shine.
